During a guided tour of one and a half hours, we visit Quinta de Bom Sucesso to learn about the history of the brand that merges with the history of Portugal.
The 17th-century property comprises a museum, where we can see the ancient methods of producing olive oil, a chapel, gardens and the castle, which features the labels of the olive oil bottles.
Right at the entrance there is a mini olive grove with olive trees of Portuguese and foreign varieties, which facilitates our perception of the differences between them
At the end of the visit, we taste three oils that Casa Anadia produces..
The farm is in Alferrarede, 1h30 from Lisbon. It is a good option for those who are in Lisbon and want to take a day trip to get to know the world of olive oil better.
